Medium-scale Proof of Concept (PoC) for an optimization
algorithm applied to blending operations within the
automotive sector.
The project validated the algorithm’s performance in
balancing technical constraints, product specifications,
and operational parameters.
The project provided a digital maturity assessment service to evaluate the company’s level of digital transformation. The initiative assessed process digitalization, identified technological gaps, and defined a strategic roadmap for adopting innovative solutions.
The project supported the company’s international growth by promoting its products and services in foreign markets through internationalization initiatives and digital marketing strategies. The activities included targeted digital campaigns and dedicated promotional tools to strengthen the global visibility of the Prometheus Systems portfolio.

The project investigated the integration of microalgae photobioreactors into refinery operations to support sustainable industrial processes. Research focused on improving reactor growth and productivity, evaluating pilot plant results, and assessing the feasibility of scaling the technology to industrial applications.
Support for industrial research and experimental development projects for companies participating in Research and Innovation Clusters – Energy Technologies
The project focused on enhancing the skills of company personnel through specialized training in the development of modern Web and Cloud client-server applications using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. The initiative strengthened the company’s internal expertise in designing, developing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures.

Support for the development of specialized skills for industrial transition, smart specialization, and entrepreneurship
The POMAC (Optimized Planning and Cloud Monitoring for the Chemical Industry) research project focused on developing cloud-based applications to support the optimized scheduling of polymerization plant operations. The initiative also explored the use of artificial intelligence to monitor schedule execution and improve workplace health and safety monitoring within industrial environments.
The research project focused on the recovery and valorization of organic waste that would otherwise be disposed of in landfill or used for energy recovery. The initiative investigated pyrolysis and steam gasification technologies to convert waste into valuable resources. As part of the project, Prometheus Systems contributed to the design of the pilot plant, performed process data reconciliation and validation, and developed the engineering design for the pre-industrial scale-up facility.
The project supported the digital transformation of Prometheus Systems through the acquisition of advanced IT infrastructure and electronic equipment. The investment strengthened the company’s remote working capabilities, improved business continuity, enhanced digital collaboration, and enabled the efficient adoption of smart working practices.
